During the Mid-Autumn Festival, I went to visit Dongtou with my friends. One of our goals was to see the sunrise.
In the early hours of the following day, we left the beach nearby to watch the sunrise, but we forgot that the sun rises and sets in the east and the beach faces the west. Fortunately, we saw a huge and bright moon.
Then we arrived at the beach in the east. Unfortunately, the clouds were too thick to see the sun, but we saw the seven colors of light shining through the clouds as the sun rose. As we were about to leave, the sun finally rose through the clouds and we captured the moment on our car camera.
Chasing the moon and chasing the sun drained all our energy so much that we went back to the hotel and fell asleep. It was late afternoon when we remembered that we could still watch the sunset on that west-facing beach. The sunset there was breathtaking, but then something happened that was not so beautiful. It even made me laugh and cry.
Since we wore slippers, our slippers were full of sand after coming from the beach, and we could feel the sand dancing under our feet with every step we took. So we're going to find a place to wash the sand off the bottom of our feet. At this time, we asked a local person:
"Where can I wash my feet?"
The woman said, "Our house."
"Really?"
"Yes, five dollars a time."
We don't think our feet deserve the top 5 bucks foot wash. So we left.
