Wenzhou City Balcony is the newest architectural and cultural landmark in Lucheng District. It is part of the Wenzhou government's promotion of "intensive and exquisite construction," and is intended to provide economic support for Wenzhou culture.

"Wenzhou City Balcony is not only a commercial complex but also a gathering place for Wenzhou culture and art," said Liu Yu, the store manager of Zao/Li Ye.
Wenzhou City Balcony project was unveiled in the Binjiang CBD business district in 2021 and is strategically located on the Oujiang River - a hotbed for Wenzhou's current construction boom.

Wenzhou City Balcony's business district targets high-quality consumption and focuses on displaying Wenzhou's specialty products that combine Wenzhou's local cultural characteristics with art and commerce to offer visitors a novel consumption experience.
Some stores at Wenzhou City Balcony mix modern trends with traditional cultures, such as Ou Kiln and local cuisine so that everyone can also enjoy the charm of Wenzhou cultural heritage.
"I have had a very new experience here. I not only enjoy the scenery but also know more about my hometown culture through the goods and exhibitions here," a local visitor to Wenzhou City Balcony, Yu Yang said.
